About Neal

Hi, my name is Neal Doherty. Having spent many years in the food industry, I have just commenced my second career...as a tour guide. I completed the the Failte Ireland (Irish Tourist Board) guide course three years ago with a merit and have been guiding ever since. As a member of Toastmasters International I have also learned the public speaking skills that ensure an excellant delivery for my guests.

In order to keep the presentations fresh I am constantly changing them to get the best mix of humour and fact. This helps to keep the presentations interesting for me and fascinating for my guests.

Confusious said: 'If you can make your hobby your job then you will never have to work a day in your life'. While I have been very busy guiding for the last three years I have not considered one day of it as work. I have really enjoyed looking after and entertaining my guests during that period
